Manage access and recover a session

Check the right business, protect credentials and understand why an edit may be refused.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Commerce sign-in, Kyloth Accounts, Dashboard, Notifications, Help

  1. Sign in through Continue with Kyloth Accounts. Check the business offered before confirming in Commerce. Your account identity and access to a business are separate checks.
  2. If a sign-in request expires, start again from the supplied Commerce sign-in route. Public signup is closed; use your approved access. If the business is missing or access has been removed, contact the person responsible for your business access or Kyloth support. Creating a second account does not restore the original access.
  3. After switching accounts or businesses, reload the dashboard before editing. Recover an uncertain stock operation using the same account and browser tab that submitted it.
  4. On shared devices, review Notifications and remove devices you do not recognise. Sign out of the product session when finished. Signing out of Accounts alone does not sign out of Commerce.
  5. Enter provider secrets only in Settings, Your accounts. Use Replace to save new credentials and Disconnect to remove a connection. If a credential has been exposed, revoke or rotate it with its provider; removing it from Kyloth does not revoke it there.

When Commerce access is paused or cancelled, changes to shop settings, themes, products, stock, orders, discounts, shelves, layouts, journal posts, guides, bundles, size guides and creator tiles refuse. Review and journal-comment moderation, review replies, enquiry and restock status changes, saved-bag follow-up, marketing spend, publishing and taking the shop offline also refuse. Import previews and commits, image fetching and attachment, new upload authorisations, onboarding saves and completion, and connecting or replacing service credentials also refuse. You can still disconnect a saved service account. This is the guarded scope; it does not describe a complete lock on every dashboard action. Saved data stays in place. An already published shop continues serving customers. The dashboard and existing-shop setup show a Commerce editing is paused notice. Save, upload and other editing controls pause, while browsing, exports, Help, inventory Refresh and service Disconnect stay available. Open Get help or the recovery guide from the notice. After access is restored, choose Check access again: editing becomes available without clearing your unsaved form. Returning to the tab or moving to another dashboard page also checks access. If access cannot be checked, editing stays unavailable until a successful retry. A cancelled autosave is not replayed automatically; make the change again after restoration. A public manual, a saved provider key or a customer payment does not itself restore Commerce access.

Before you continue
Do not paste passwords, API secrets or payment credentials into Help, customer messages or screenshots. Describe the screen, time and visible error instead. This guide does not imply that every member can grant roles or that a self-service team invitation screen exists.
