Going live
The checks worth making before you send anyone your address.
Where: Dashboard, Settings
- Every product you want to sell is published, not draft. Drafts are invisible to shoppers.
- Write your own shop headline. The launch checklist links directly to the headline field under Brand in Settings if it is missing.
- Choose how buyers will pay. UPI needs a saved UPI ID. Selecting cards also needs a configured gateway; the supported local test connection does not prove live payment acceptance.
- Your dispatch time is set. It is the promise a buyer reads before paying somebody they have not bought from before.
- Your returns policy is written. It is the other one.
- You have set how delivery is priced, or your checkout cannot quote a total.
- You have added at least one photograph per product. A tile with no photograph paints a colour instead, and a shelf of coloured rectangles reads as a shop that is not open.
- If you sell a download or a course seat and cash on delivery is the only way you get paid, add a UPI id. Asking someone to pay cash for something no courier ever carries reads oddly; UPI lets them pay the moment they order.
Your Overview names most of these back to you as things worth doing. It only ever says something it can support with your own rows, so if it is quiet there is nothing it can see.
Publishing checks your saved setup again. If a product was moved back to draft, return to the catalogue and publish it before trying again. Your launch address is your Kyloth address. A saved custom domain remains a preference: it does not verify ownership, connect DNS, enable HTTPS or make the shop serve there. Generated shop links keep using your Kyloth address. If a launch response is interrupted, reopen setup to see whether your shop is already published. Retrying publication does not record another opening.
