Correct conflicting details in an order sheet

Keep all lines of one marketplace order consistent before importing it.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Dashboard, Catalogue, Channels, Import orders sheet

This applies to marketplace order sheets in Channels, not Catalogue, Import, which creates product drafts. Use the column mapping and preview for the selected channel. The mapping does not certify a marketplace's upload or download format, and importing a file does not establish a live marketplace connection.

  1. Keep a copy of the original report. For an order with several item lines, check the buyer name, order date, address, city, state, PIN and phone against the first line of that order.
  2. A later line may leave an order-detail field blank. If it supplies a value, it must agree with the first line. A value on a later line does not fill an empty first-line field. Correct the source file using the actual order record; do not guess a missing address.
  3. If any line has conflicting order details or an invalid PIN, the whole order is left out. Check the refusal reason, correct the file and preview it again. Other valid orders in the file can still be imported.

This check does not repair orders already imported. An order imported before is reported as a duplicate and is not changed by importing it again. Keep customer details private when sharing a refusal with support; the row and reason are usually enough.
