Bringing a catalogue in

Getting a spreadsheet of products into the shop without typing them again.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Dashboard, Catalog, Import

  1. Export your catalogue as a CSV with clear columns such as Name, Price, Category, Description and Image.
  2. Paste your products in. Name and price are the two that must be filled.
  3. Upload. Every row is checked before anything is written.
  4. Read what it says it could not read. The import names the rows it rejected and why, rather than quietly dropping them.

The preview checks the file before creating products. It records an import attempt and shows which rows are valid. When you continue, only valid rows are submitted. Existing names are skipped without changing their products; imported products start as drafts. Images are fetched separately, so review the products and photographs before publishing.
