Size guides

One chart of measurements, written once and pointed at from as many products as fit it.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Dashboard, Catalog, Size guides

A size guide is a table you write once: a name, whether it's in centimetres or inches, and a grid of measurements against your sizes. Give it a name that says what it's for, such as Kurta measurements or Bottle sizes, because that name is what a shopper reads before the table.

Write it once, use it on as many products as actually share it. Every kurta cut from the same block goes on the one guide; a product with its own sizing gets its own.

  • A product shows no size guide at all until you point it at one. That is the ordinary state for anything that is not sized — a chart on a product that has no sizes would be a measurement nobody asked for.
  • A shopper opens it from a link beside the size options on the product page. It opens in its own window over the page and closes without losing their place.
  • Deleting a guide does not touch the products that used it. It only removes the chart itself — a seller tidying up their sizing does not have to worry about breaking the products that pointed at it.
