Selling a course

A syllabus as modules and lessons, and batches as variants.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Dashboard, Catalog, a product

Mark a product Access under How this reaches the customer when it is neither posted nor downloaded — a course, a class, an entitlement with nothing to ship and no file to send.

Write your syllabus as modules and lessons in the Syllabus editor. A module needs a name and at least one lesson to appear on your shop; leave the rest blank.

  • Variants work as batches: name one 'May 2027 batch' rather than a size, and give it its own price and seat count.
  • A batch sells until its seats run out. Closing one is your call — set its stock to zero.

Mark delivered, on the order — Dashboard, Orders — once a seat is taken up. It records that this buyer has what they paid for; nothing else happens when you press it, because there is no login for it to grant and no lesson for it to send. There is no buyer login at all — you enrol and teach students the way you already do.

Before you continue
Kyloth does not deliver your course. There is no login gate, no lesson player and no progress tracking here — you enrol and teach students yourself. A downloaded file is the opposite case and the sentence here used to say so wrongly: it read "the same way a seller of a downloaded file sends it themselves once an order places", which stopped being true the day Delivering a digital file above shipped. Access is the kind with nothing for Kyloth to hand over.
