Where: Class → Timetable → a class → Register

Before you continue
Class is an approved preview. Sign-up is closed. Use invented students and guardians; do not enter a real child's details.
  1. Open Timetable and choose a class under today's classes. A batch's page also lists its registers for the last two weeks and today. A register opens only on or after the day of the class.
  2. Tap a child's name to mark them present. The buttons under each name mark Present, Absent, Late or Excused. Pressing the selected mark again clears it.
  3. Use Find a student to filter a long list. On a keyboard, P, A, L and E mark the focused child and move to the next.
  4. Mark the rest present fills every unmarked child. Undo in the message that follows clears only the rows it filled.
  5. Read the line at the bottom. It says every mark shown is saved, or how many were not saved. Press Retry on each row that says Not saved.

Each mark is saved as you tap and needs a connection. Nothing is kept on the phone; if you go offline, the page says so, and marks tapped then are not saved. A class nobody marked shows as not taken, and its children are never counted as absent.

Teachers mark the registers of their own batches. Front desk, owners and admins can mark any batch. A guardian sees each class their child was marked in on their own page. Marking a child absent sends no message to the guardian.
