The words on your front page
Your headline, tagline, button and announcement, and who they belong to.
User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.
Where: Dashboard, Settings, Brand
Four short pieces of writing sit at the top of your shop. They are yours. Picking a theme fills them in as a starting draft so you are never staring at empty boxes, and everything you write over that draft stays written.
- Headline. The first line a customer reads. Your shop needs one before it can go live.
- Tagline. The line under your headline. Leave it blank and your shop shows the headline on its own.
- Button. The words on the button that takes a customer to your products.
- Announcement. A strip above your menu, on every page of your shop. Leave it blank and no strip appears.
Once your shop is live you can rewrite the headline as often as you like, but you cannot leave it empty. A shop that is open to customers with nothing at the top of it reads as broken. Take the shop offline first if you want to start from a blank page.
