Adding a customer's photo to your shop
A photo a customer or a creator took, added by hand once you have their permission to use it.
User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.
Where: Dashboard, Catalog, Creator content
Paste a link to the photo, a caption, and the handle of whoever took it, and it can appear in the theme's own creator-content band on your shop, always shown alongside the handle it came from.
- Checking “This creator gave permission for their photo to appear on my shop” is your own record that you asked and they said yes. Kyloth records that you checked it; nobody at Kyloth checks that it happened.
- A photo added without that box checked never appears on your shop, on any page, however a customer views it.
- Removing a tile takes it off your shop immediately. There is no way to edit a tile once it is added — remove it and add it again if something about it needs to change.
Before you continue
Only check the permission box once you actually have it. Kyloth takes your word for it and does not verify consent on your behalf, so a photo shown without real permission is yours to answer for.
