Pages and journal

The words on your shop that are not products.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Dashboard, Settings and Journal

  • An About page: who you are, in your own words. The first line of it also fills your home page's story section, wherever your theme has one, so it is worth making that first line count.
  • A Contact page, built from the details you have entered.
  • A journal, for writing that is not a product. Each entry can carry a cover image, photographs in the body and its own questions and answers.
  • Give an entry a short Category label in the editor, such as Buying guides. Leave it blank to show Journal. Customers can search titles and summaries, choose a category and move through numbered pages. Grid, masonry and list views change the layout without changing the results.
  • Article pages include a sidebar with journal search, category links and related stories. On smaller screens those controls remain available beside the reading flow. Only your own published writing is shown; sample theme stories do not appear on your live shop.
  • A signup invitation inside an article uses the same shop newsletter setup and consent rules as other signup forms. A theme preview can show the interaction but does not subscribe anyone or send mail.
