Save Twilio credentials and understand SMS availability

Record your own SMS account without mistaking it for an enabled messaging campaign.

User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.

Where: Dashboard, Settings, Your accounts, Messages

The SMS: Twilio card accepts your own account details. Have the Account SID, Auth token and Sender ID or number ready. Use the sender approved for your business and destination; Kyloth does not complete provider registration for you.

  1. Open Settings, Your accounts, SMS: Twilio and choose Connect or Replace.
  2. Enter Account SID, Auth token and Sender ID or number. The SID begins with AC. Choose Save and check the masked account hint.
  3. Read the Messages section on Settings. It describes channel availability separately from the saved account. Saving Twilio credentials does not activate bulk SMS or a customer campaign.
  4. If the account details should no longer be used, choose Disconnect. Revoke exposed credentials with Twilio separately. There is no shared Kyloth SMS account to fall back to.
Before you continue
Do not treat Your account as a sent-message receipt. Use only a workflow that explicitly supports delivery and reports its outcome. Manual WhatsApp links still require you to press send in WhatsApp.
