What delivery costs
Pricing a parcel by where it is going and what it weighs.
User guide
These guides describe implemented workflows. You still need an account and access to the product; individual features can have separate requirements.
Where: Dashboard, Settings
You set a rate sheet: zones by distance from where you dispatch, and weight bands within them. The checkout resolves the exact cell from the buyer's pincode and the weight of what is in their bag.
- Set your dispatch pincode first. It is the near end of every zone.
- Give every product a weight, or the quote falls back to whatever you set as a flat rate.
- You can make delivery free over a value you choose.
- The last box is a cost rather than a charge: what one returned parcel costs you, all in. Nobody is charged it and no customer sees it. Analytics uses it to price what cash on delivery is costing you.
- Offering express: under the rate sheet, give a zone a surcharge and a delivery time in working days. It is charged on top of the standard rate, free delivery never covers it, and a zone you leave blank is a zone you do not offer express to.
A buyer whose address falls in a zone you offer express to sees both options priced between their address and the payment method. The order records which one they chose, and your order page, the receipt and the export all say so.
