Where: Table → Reports

  1. Open Reports. Only an owner or admin can open it; a captain's account cannot.
  2. Choose a day and press Show. Today is the latest day you can pick. The report covers that whole day in India Standard Time, from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm.
  3. Read the three figures at the top: Net sales, Settled bills and GST collected. The table below breaks them into Sales, GST, Credit notes, Net, Tenders and Cash drawer.
  4. Press Download CSV for the same figures in a spreadsheet for your accountant.

A bill counts on the day it was issued, once it is paid. Bills still awaiting payment stay out of the figures; the line under the top figures tells you how many there are and their total. A bill voided before payment is counted on that line too, and never in the figures.

A credit note is a paid bill you voided. It counts on the day the credit note was issued, even when the bill was from an earlier day, so a day's figures can include a credit note for last night's bill. A bill paid and voided on the same day nets to zero.

Choose Week or Month at the top to see a whole week, Monday to Sunday, or a calendar month. Pick any day in the week, or a month from the list, and press Show; the arrows step to the previous or next one. The figures are the days added together under the same rules, and the By day table gives each day's settled bills, gross sales, credit notes and net sales, so you can match every row against that day's own report. On a phone the By day table leaves out the credit notes column; the CSV keeps it. A week's or a month's CSV starts with the period's figures and ends with a By day block for every day.

  • Items (GST included), Service charge and Round-off add up to Gross sales. Taxable value, CGST, SGST, round-off and any service charge outside GST add up to the same amount.
  • Net sales is gross sales less the credit notes total. Net taxable value, Net CGST and Net SGST follow the same rule.
  • Tenders are how guests paid the day's settled bills: Cash, UPI confirmed by provider, and UPI recorded by staff. UPI recorded by staff is what someone checked in their own UPI app, not a confirmation from a payment provider. Total tenders equals gross sales.
  • Net cash is cash taken less cash refunded. A credit note for a cash-paid bill is recorded as cash refunded; one for a UPI-paid bill moves no cash.
  • Items sold lists each dish from the settled bills, by name, with the quantity and the amount including GST, largest amount first. A bill split by amount is shown as one Bills split by amount (not itemised) row, because its shares hold money rather than dishes. Items sold and that row add up to Items (GST included). The list is before credit notes; a credit note comes off Net sales on its own day.

The CSV has five columns: Day (IST), Section, Figure, Value and Quantity, with money in rupees and two decimals; Quantity is filled only on the Items sold rows. It also lists the bills awaiting payment and those voided before payment, in their own section. Kyloth records each download in its audit log.
