Where: Table → Kitchen; managers use Service for corrections

  1. Select your assigned station in Kitchen. Compare the service reference, dish, portion, quantity and modifiers with the work in front of you.
  2. Choose Acknowledge ticket after reviewing the instructions, then Start preparation when work begins.
  3. Enter the quantity actually ready and choose Mark ready. Review Ready, Cancelled and Remaining; a partly ready ticket still needs work or manager attention.
  4. Ask a manager to handle unavailable quantities or incorrect selections. Staff cannot edit original instructions or cancel quantities.
  5. Reload after a conflict and compare the latest saved progress before acting. Ending service prevents new preparation progress.

A manager can cancel only remaining quantities and must record a reason. For a replacement, use the pending-selection correction in Service: choose one source line, prepare one replacement selection for the same quantity, and review the linked cancellation and replacement ticket. Route the replacement explicitly and tell the original station about the cancelled work.

Before you continue
A correction does not change already-ready quantities, refund a payment, alter stock or prove the cook stopped. If its outcome is unknown, use Retry same service request. After reload, inspect the original history and the replacement's Replaces reference before starting again.
