Recover an interrupted save or send

Find the saved outcome before repeating an action that could create work or contact a customer.

Approved preview
These instructions are for users with approved preview access. Reading them does not enable a workspace or open public signup. Check each guide for current limits.

Where: Desk, the original action screen and its saved history

  1. Keep the original page open when a result is uncertain. Use its Retry same operation, Retry unchanged review or equivalent control without editing the submitted details.
  2. Check the saved record or history. Refresh or reload reads current state; it is not permission to start another send. A new operation identifier can create new work.
  3. If the screen reports a conflict, reload and review the newer record before editing again. Old retries must not overwrite a later handoff, consent withdrawal or other decision.
  4. For Queued or Processing delivery, wait and inspect history. Provider accepted is separate from delivered, read, failed or complained. Unknown requires review, not another message to test whether the first worked.
  5. If access or channel setup changed, ask the owner or preview operator to check the current membership, grant and account. Share the record reference and visible error, never credentials or unnecessary customer details.

Some request identities live only in the open page. Reloading or leaving can discard unsaved input and retry state. Check retained history before creating a replacement operation. Disabled provider controls, missing attachment scanning and unconfigured capacity are setup conditions; repeating the button cannot enable them.

Continue safe manual work when a channel or assistant is unavailable: private notes, reviewed customer records and assigned follow-ups do not require an outgoing message. Do not mark a customer contacted or an invoice issued merely because a request was saved.
