Check access, exports and retained history

Understand what revocation, archiving, linking and export do before promising deletion.

Approved preview
These instructions are for users with approved preview access. Reading them does not enable a workspace or open public signup. Check each guide for current limits.

Where: Desk, workspace chooser; Team; customer details; connection settings

  • Inactive or expired Desk access prevents opening protected workspace records. A bookmark or a known file URL does not bypass current membership and access checks.
  • Customer ownership assigns responsibility, not secrecy. Current workspace members share customer records; approved requesters see only their allowed cases and requester-visible publications.
  • Marking a customer Inactive preserves history. Linking duplicate identities keeps histories separate and is reversible. Neither action erases the record.
  • A manager can ask the preview operator for a customer-directory export. Its bounded scope is not a full conversation, sales or financial archive. Confirm the exact included fields before relying on it as a backup.
  • Disconnecting a channel removes its stored credentials or assignments as described on that screen. Previously accepted messages, capture receipts and delivery evidence remain; revoke provider-side tokens separately when necessary.
  • Copied quotations and downloaded files cannot be recalled through a later permission change. Share them only with the intended recipient.
Before you continue
Do not promise whole-customer or whole-workspace erasure from these controls. Financial, customer and interaction records can remain retained. The reviewed assistant-draft erasure process has a limited scope and requires separate approval and evidence; this manual does not enable it for real workspaces.
