Where: Desk, an issued quotation; Review invoice draft

Before you continue
Fresh invoice submission is unavailable in this preview. Preparing a draft or reserving a number does not issue a tax invoice, collect payment or prove compliance. Tax review and recovery controls require separately verified setup and current permissions.
  1. After your team records acceptance of the latest issued quote, an owner or admin chooses Prepare invoice draft. Review the saved issuer, customer, line amounts and totals. The draft remains unnumbered and unissued.
  2. Return through Review invoice draft. A later quote version or corrected acceptance leaves the original draft intact and can show a source-review warning. Do not treat that warning as an updated invoice.
  3. If Tax review and reservation is available, review the registered series, service date, recipient state and calculated tax scope. Save tax review before Reserve invoice number. Missing setup requires your preview operator; a reserved number is still not an issued invoice.
  4. Use Check saved status to read an existing request. Queued or Processing is not issuance. Reconciling or Needs review means inspect the saved evidence before another action; do not submit again to force progress.

For an already registered invoice, the original requester may see Recover registered invoice while still an eligible owner or admin. Check the original document and registration reference, choose Renew tax review, then Confirm invoice recovery. This records the existing registration without submitting it again. Use Retry same review or Retry same recovery after an uncertain response.

An owner or admin can close an unused reservation with a reason when Close unused reservation is offered. Confirming permanently consumes that number; it cannot be reused. Closure is not invoice issuance or tax-invoice cancellation. If a submission intent exists, check its status instead. An issued record retains original amounts and history; this view does not provide a tax-invoice download, payment confirmation or cancellation status.
