Before you continue
Text messages need an SMS provider account and DLT-approved templates. Until your operator turns the gateway on, Clinic shows that SMS is not connected and sends nothing. Medicine reminder wording has not been reviewed by a medical professional.
- Register your message texts with your SMS provider as the Reminders screen shows them, and add the template ids to Clinic.
- Every reminder names your clinic and says how to stop. A reminder never names a medicine, a dose or a reason for the visit.
- A patient who replies STOP stops reminders on that number. The reply is matched only when the whole text is STOP. Any other reply is dropped and not stored, so tell patients to call you with a question.
The STOP callback works for one clinic per setup. Your operator configures the provider to send replies to it.
