The wording on the receipt is a draft. A chartered accountant has not read it, and the receipt says so. It is not a tax invoice. Ask your accountant before you give receipts to patients.
- Open Visit charges for the visit as an owner or administrator. Save the consultation and pharmacy amounts, then record the cash or UPI you received until the balance is zero.
- When the balance is zero, choose Issue receipt. The receipt gets a number such as R/2026-27/000001. Numbers run in order for your business and restart each financial year (April to March).
- Choose View or print receipt. Use Print receipt in the browser. The printed page shows only the receipt.
Once a receipt is issued, the charges and the money recorded for that visit are locked. You cannot add a payment, void one or change the amounts. A credit note is not available yet. The receipt shows no diagnosis and no clinical detail. Tax lines appear only if a tax rate was saved for the visit; otherwise the receipt says no GST is charged.
