Connect a Facebook or LinkedIn Page (internal preview)
How the owner signs in on the platform and chooses one Page, and what Kyloth keeps.

Where: Social → Destinations → Connect a platform
Before you continue
This is an internal preview. The button appears only when Kyloth has switched connecting on and registered its app with the platform, and that has not happened yet. No post is sent through a platform; a connected Page is recorded and every post is still published by hand.
- Sign in as the owner of the business. Only the owner can connect or disconnect a platform; an admin cannot.
- Open Social, then Destinations, and choose Connect a Facebook Page or Connect a LinkedIn Page.
- Sign in on the platform's own page and allow the permissions it lists. Kyloth never sees your password.
- Back in Kyloth, choose the Page to connect. For Facebook, Kyloth lists the Pages you manage. For LinkedIn, type the number of your Page and a name you will recognise.
- The connection shows as Connected. Point a destination at it, or leave the destination on publishing by hand.
- Kyloth keeps one sealed sign-in for the one Page you chose. It is stored encrypted and is never shown on any screen.
- The sign-in link works once, for ten minutes, and only in the browser and for the person who started it.
- LinkedIn sign-ins are renewed automatically before they expire. A Facebook sign-in that stops working shows as Expired, reconnect, and the destination goes back to publishing by hand.
- Disconnect removes the sealed sign-in and sends every destination back to publishing by hand.
